Request - SMF Group Restrictions with Bridged Efiction

What we currently do on our site is restrict new users from accessing the Coopermine Gallery until they reach a certain number of posts in the SMF DB, then we remove a New Group membership and allow them full access. We would like to do this for the Efiction side as well, so prevent users that are tagged as new members from having access to efiction.

Is there an easy way to do this, via a mod or is it just something even easier like a script I need to run?

Any thoughts on this? I am using SMF 1.1.1 and Efiction 3.3
