To answer your first question, I would say that 2.0 mods are never safe to use with 3.0. Their coding is different.
I don't know about the second, you will have to wait and see if anyone will create a Last Visited Mod for 3.0.
Whoever said nothing is impossible never tried slamming a revolving door.

Marohi was just able to add this back in on our test site, but he's still checking for bugs. Barring insane amounts of homework or other unforeseen hangups, we should have a load of 3.0 mods ready to post this weekend.
EDIT: He's confident it's going to work, so he or I will be posting it for sure this weekend. And no, the 2.0 version won't work.
