Hello folks!

I've been struggling with this user friendly program for months now, and I'm about to call it quits.  But I really don't want to, so here I am looking for help.

My site is: http://www.b7fic.com/

Most things seem to function well enough, even though the site isn't skinned yet.  But the main issue we are having is that some search issue problems. Using the search function at the top of the main page doesn't seem to work well; the advanced search seems to work.  How can I fix this?

I'm sure there are some other errors too, that I just don't even know how to begin to fix/identity, but that is the biggest one.  Some fics aren't showing up in their proper categories or whatever.  Any pointers or suggestions would be so very welcome, because I just don't have a clue, and neither do any of the people I'm working with anymore.

Thank you!!

The simple search on your page worked for me...

I did a summary search of Vila and it pulled up a story
I did a penname search for kindkit and it pulled it up
I did a title search of whisper and it pulled up whispers

Mind you your site only has 3 stories for me to work with. Just what kind of search were you trying for? If you were going for coauthor search that's broken.

From the home page, if you click on a season, a list of all stories for that season comes up, plus, at the top of the page, a search bar. If you then try to search for a particular character within those results, what comes up instead is a definition of the timelines.

I'm goig to up a few more stories and get some others to too to see if that helps.

That's not searching, that's sorting, hence the confusion. I think that's a bug--try checking the bugs forum.
