I could have sworn I posted this already, but I suppose I could be imagining things.
I attempted to upgrade The Silver Snitch, followed all the directions in the instructions about upgrading from one version of eFiction 3 to another. When I went to tss1 to see if the upgrade worked, this is what I got:
A fatal MySQL error was encountered.
Query: SELECT * FROM fanfiction_categories ORDER BY leveldown, displayorder
Error: (1146) Table 'snitch_tss1.fanfiction_categories' doesn't exist

When I went to tss2, I got a blank page.

Not going to be much help here, but tss2 isn't blank, it's black text on black background. (I had this problem before.)
When you highlight it, it shows the same error as tss3:

You have a different copy of eFiction for each tss, or some kind of split going on? If they're separate, you'd probably want to split off the tss1 problems to a different post since it looks like what calic0cat said, and something went wonky with your database update. Though the other could be related too.
So, I have a sneaking suspicion that there might be an issue with table prefixes in 3.3 - anyone else experienced this?
YES. XD In 3.3 if you install with a table prefix, you get a mysql error right away and can't even log in. If you upgrade, your stats block doesn't update. Or is that the other way around? Can't log in with updates, no stats for new installs? Probably. A couple of other things may have problems too, like RSS feeds. I'm sure these will be fixed in the next update of the script. 🙂 Tammy's good like that.
But there are fixes for installs/upgrades so we're good in the mean time. You just have to put the sitekey in the place where the sitekey wasn't saved and it's all fixed!
