I tried to get some help with this problem last month but no one ever answered. Thought I try again because this problem decreases the use of my archive drastically.
Ever since I upgraded to 3.3, the Series function doesn't list the stories grouped in the series on the author's series page. For instance, here:
http://worldsfinest.comicslash.com/archive/viewuser.php?action=seriesby&uid=1
This is a series with 2 stories in it. The stories show up in the author's Manage Series panel. The stories are in the correct order and are accessible through the account management page, but they are not accessible via the Author Bio page.
Does anyone have any advice or can offer any help? I would appreciate it.
I'm getting a 403 Forbidden error on your site. I don't really understand what you're trying to explain, so I was trying to look at your site.

I think Tmelange is saying that when you look under series, the stories associated with the series are not appearing. I found one instance on their page where you did see a story listed under series: http://worldsfinest.comicslash.com/archive/viewseries.php?seriesid=18
But the other series are listed as blank.
I had a simliar problem like that a while ago but I don't remember how it got solved. (Upgrade to 3.2.1 I think).

Sorry. I have an htaccess doc in place that excludes whole ranges of IPs because I was having problems with certain people registering, but I made an adjustment. Please try again.
Thanks!
Does anyone possibly have a solution for the problem in this thread?
Are you sure that the stories are validated?

Yep. I just double checked my own series. My stories are validated and, of course, I am validated as an author.
Have you made sure that your skin has the following in the listings.tpl file?
<!-- START BLOCK : listings -->
{seriesheader}
<!-- START BLOCK : seriesblock -->
== THIS IS WHERE YOUR SKIN STYLE WOULD GO FOR THE SERIES ==
<!-- END BLOCK : seriesblock -->
{stories}
<!-- START BLOCK : storyblock -->
== THIS IS WHERE YOUR SKIN STYLE WOULD GO FOR THE STORIES ==
<!-- END BLOCK : storyblock -->
{pagelinks}
<!-- END BLOCK : listings -->
I think that was a change and I had to make sure mine had that to make it work.

I checked the file. It has all of the relevant information. Any other ideas?
Your stories are showing... If you click on the name of your series, you enter that series profile and the stories are there:
For Ever Nearer Yet
Pas de Deux
Seems okay to me

Yeah. I deleted the original series and redid that one from scratch. Apparently, I'll have to do that with EVERY series in the archive since, with the latest archive update, the function will only work with new series being created and won't work with series that are already in the archive. And since no one seems to have a better solution, I guess I'll have to spend my day re-doing series for every author.
Thanks anyway.
Hmmmmm now that is weird because I didn't have to redo mine. Did you get sql errors when you were upgrading your efiction install to 3.3?

Nope. No errors.
I'm just glad that the archive is small at the moment. Re-doing all the series in the archive isn't such a terribly big deal. At least it's doable, and once it's fixed, it's fixed. π
Well best of luck then! Sorry I couldn't help more but I'm thoroughly stomped as I didn't get those issues.

Thanks anyway for responding. π Mine must be an unusual problem, but as long as I have a workaround I'm cool.
