I've needed help in uploading fanfic into my archive, so I've had some moderators helping me out. Since I don't want them to have full admin level status, I set them at admin level 2, so they could at least help me in validating fanfic that newbies are posting.
But now these moderators are having a problem with their own work. When trying to post a challenge, they get a "not authorized" screen. And yes, I've tried creating challenges with both my admin account and my no-frills test account and can do it fine. The problem seems to be confined to those with admin level 2.
And now the same thing is happening for them when they try to create a series. Both could do it fine before being promoted to a partial admin, but now cannot.
Another question: does someone have a list of what exactly each admin level can do with a just installed Efiction site? Ideally, I would like the admins to be able to put up other people's fanfic from the old HTML archive into the new one, without being able to change the settings of the entire site.
Thanks!

An update on this problem. I promoted 2 very trusted members to Admin level 3, and the problems with series and challenges went away. So it looks like this is a problem with only the level 2 admin. Rather strange that it would only be that level.

I think that this is a bug.
