Could it be possible to make something like an avatar for each story?
The author would upload an image when submiting a new story, and this image would show up as a thumbnail in stories listings... My members are asking for someway to show the posters they make for their stories, but they want it to show when listing the stories, not only inside them...

Still, I too would prefer a true avatar feature for the profile and maybe the story, where the image is restricted to 100x100.
Sorry for the stale reply, but I third this. I'd like to do banners (small ones, of course), though.
