Hello

I know there was a released mod that integrates phpbb and efiction but it replaces the efiction profile with the forum profile.

I would like two seperate profiles, efiction and forums. I would just like it if someone registers for the forum, it registers efiction to and vice versa if someone registers efiction it will register them to the forum to.

I really don't know much about doing all this except that it is very complicated so I would really appreciate it if anyone is able to do this for us.

Miko

This is a good idea and I would like it if someone could develop it as well.

It would be complicated and actually be better if you waited til phpbb 3 is released, as bridging with phpbb 2 is complicated and with the release of phpbb 3, it will be rendered a bit useless if phpbb 3 is better. Then of course there is the release of efiction 3, which will be easier to bridge.

Phpbb3 is pretty stable right now, I guess.

I'm no programmer so I can't figure how hard or easy an user integration can be. But there's no one to give it a shot? ^^ I'm willing to test anything.

I'm looking either for Joomla (any version) or PHPBB3 bridges. Any would make me really happy! Even if it was ONLY USER INTEGRATION and nothing more.

There is a pretty extensive Joomla integration for 3.0 which you can use if you upgrade.

The likehood of someone writing a mod for 2.0 is very small.

Dear Carissa, now I see I posted at the wrong forum (shame on me).

I was looking for efiction 3.x to integrate with phpbb3 and/or Joomla 1.5. I could integrate the Joomla and Phpbb3 but not efiction to any of them.

Any help on that matter would be very welcome! Thanls and sorry for the mistake.
