I have uploaded all my files now. I did chmod thing and everything. I went in to type the web address with the 'efiction' thing on the end to start the installer and got 'The page cannot be found' message. I thought maybe I needed to move all the files into the core folder which was labeled under my domain name. I did this and still cannot get it to work.
I am using dreamhost as my host.
I will leave my info in case any of you want to take a look and see if you can fix my goof up.

Admin Edit: Removed username and password. NEVER post that info.
Ack, do not put up your password, there are nefarious people on the internet.
Skins made by Kali are no longer supported!
please do not post anything unless u can help
Kali was right and you should listen to her. NEVER EVER EVER post your username and password to a publicly visible board. You'll get hacked. I've edited your post to remove the information. I strongly advice you to change your password immediately.
At this point there is nothing to hack..
The hacker can ADD whatever he wants...including files to attack other sites, send spam, phishing. It's not what he could do to your files, its what he could do with your account.
ok i'll change the password.
It would be really helpful if you filled out the Support Request Template (stickied at the top of the board). For instance, we don't even know your domain, so how can we try to help in that regard? I suspect you're just not using the right web address.
Incidentally, if you're sure you've got the right path, then try adding /install/install.php to the end of it. When you access the main folder of the eFiction install it should run automatically (since it's actually accessing index.php which will redirect it) but sometimes it doesn't (for instance, if you've got another index file that's overriding the eFiction one such as a webhosting placeholder or some such).
