That's not really unique, and it's all explained in the wiki article. Find an FTP program and use that instead, like babaca said.

BTW, you might find someone nice enough with some free time to figure it out on your hosting, but it's not really our job to figure out how your hosting works. I"m sure you're not intending this, but it seems a little forward for you to expect someone to set up a testing account for the sole purpose of helping you figure it out. We all had to figure things out for ourselves at one point or another. That's part of running your own site. The process can be intimidating, but it's not as impossible as it seems.

Forgive me for seeming forward. Last night I was stressed because I couldn't figure this panel out, and I have a lot going on in my life right now, but I should also at least try to make sense without being rude. πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

I had hoped that when I posted that, I would express the fact that I figured it out, but that it would probably be in good taste for someone to take a look at that control panel so that someone using the same host, who is also new to this kind of thing, wouldn't have as much trouble getting started as I did. Again, I apologise for my behavior last night. πŸ˜‰

Might I add that this issue is SOLVED!

but first, might I ask what this means?

"E-mail Settings
If your host has the php sendmail function turned on, leave these fields blank.

SMTP Host: The URL of your SMTP server. Leave this setting blank to use sendmail instead.
SMTP Username: [?]The user name to use with the SMTP server.
SMTP Password: [?]The password for the SMTP user name set above. "

it was in the wiki, and  dont know what it is or what Im supposed to do when I get here.

You basically leave those blank. And test it by using the contact link when you have your site up. If you receive mail then you have nothing to worry about. Some websites doesn't allow sendmail. In those cases if you were using another address like yahoo for example you would put in the stmp.yahoo.com, etc. But most websites by default use sendmail, so you just leave it blank.
