I use this topic in this board to announce that we are setting up a new efiction board with additional functionality and that we want to share all the changes we are going to make to the eFiction software (mainly additional mods, but also changes to the core of the eFiction if this is needed (like the sort)).
I setup a forum for that purpose. You can take a look here: http://forum.writingcenter4.info/index.php/board,195.0.html.
There are several parts of additional development:
Categories, Genres - ways to support multiple universes and how to separate between slash and not slash as other important classifications
http://forum.writingcenter4.info/index.php/board,202.0.html
Coding, functionality - Different requests to add more functionality to eFiction in the form of mods. For example fill-informs with requests of new categories (universes) and/or sub-categories, functionality for simple and separate searches in pairings and categories (universes) and sub from it and changes in the eFiction with sorting stories and a simple combo to 'jump' from the main page to the Titles page of the category

Themes or skins - I use the base skin (blanc) as basis. When we finish with most of the functionality at the moment, we are going to add additional skins to the site, based on the blanc skin
http://forum.writingcenter4.info/index.php/board,196.0.html
Categories, Genres - And finally, how we organize the eFiction categories and classifications to support multiple universes and distinguish between slash and not slash

And of course, we have solved the issue of pairing. Originally, multi-pairing fics are not supported in any engine I looked at (fanfiction.net and eFiction software). Well, that is a mistake, because it is supported, except that the naming is wrong! The 'Characters' is being renamed to 'Pairings' and that is being used as basis of pairing.
For example we have a Harry Potter universe, which contain all the characters of this universe. We are going to make a category (which is now renamed as Universe), with a sub-category (sub-universe) slash. In this sub-universe, we use only male characters. Authors can define pairing in ways he or she likes.
The same for the femslash (only female pairings) and not-slash sub-universes (Harry and female characters) and even Draco Malfoy and female characters.
Certain classifications will be globally available for all universes (like genres and there are more available).
And we are looking for people who are willingly to help. We are looking for coders, graphical artists and the whole bunch.

That also includes admins and moderators for the universes.
