I'm working on a new skin, Modern Machine, and unfortunately I no longer have the many different browsers I used to have.

Thus far the skin has been tested in IE7, Opera 9.10 and Firefox 2.0 with no major issues.

If you have a browser other than those 3, I would appreciate it if you would go in and see how the skin looks.

Please let me know if anything is breaking within the common window resolutions 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024
(above or below that, I'm not concerned)

The more information you can give me, the better (such as your resolution, browser version, exact page, exactly what is going on)

Thank You.

I'm at school using Netscape 7.1. I think it's a 800x600 resolution. it looks good, nothing's broken.

Did you mean for your series to be like this:

It looks like the normal story blocks are blocks with the graphic header. the series block white part is bigger than the story one, and the header is padded inside of it. It looks cool if you intended it. πŸ™‚

you might want to change the text color for the (#) in the tabs on the author profile page, black on dark grey is hard to see:

I tested the page on an intel Mac using: SeaMonkey, Camino, Firefox 2.0 and it all looked spiffy. However the oldest and not supported browser on my machine here at work is Internet Explorer 5.2 and there it looks like this (which isn't that bad considering it's IE):

I'd be lying if that was actually what I intended. Some day I will fully understand all the template parts and what page pulls what. Until then, I just left it like that because it was legible.

Babaca: IE Mac is just one of those browsers I've given up on >_< I don't even know where to begin with the hacks necessary to get any of my layouts in line for it ^_^

Thanks to both of you.

No problem. I tell people throughout my building to not use mac IE, but some folks are stubborn, even when I hide the program from them on their machines. But as for efiction, on my welcome message I always say don't use mac IE. So I wouldn't worry about it much either.  Folks using it will just have to live with formatting looking weird on webpages (not just efictions).

But I do love the layout though. It's very sleek and cool looking.

You can download the stand alone version of IE6 from this page: http://browsers.evolt.org/download.php?/ie/32bit/standalone/ie6eolas_nt.zip

It won't replace IE7, thus enabling you to have both browsers on one computer. I use it at work for testing.
