How hard would it be to move a set of Genre's to a new classification? I have the below in the Genre's section. I would like to move them to a new Classification called Time Line. Or would it just be easier add the new classification and ask my authors to wake up and fix their stories?

HP Timeline: 1st Year
HP Timeline: 2nd Year
HP Timeline: 3rd Year
HP Timeline: 4th Year
HP Timeline: 5th Year
HP Timeline: 6th Year
HP Timeline: 7th Year

Even though I haven't done this, I'm sure you can just edit the title. Leave the name alone and your authors can continue their slumber. The name is what the table is called in the database and the title is what appears on screen.

I think he wants to move those from one classification type to another.  Just go into the "Classifications" admin.  Add your new type then go to the old type.  Edit each of those individual classifications and change their type from the old one to the new one.

Okay, I need a little clarification.

1) Create the Time Line classification
2) Go to the Genre's classification and edit them to say what exactly? You said to edit their type from the old one to the new one. I don't understand what that means.

go into the "Classifications" admin.
Add your new type

/admin.php?action=classifications&type=new

then go to the old type.

/admin.php?action=classifications
Click on the Classification that the current 1st year, 2nd year, ect things are listed under.

Edit each of those individual classifications and change their type from the old one to the new one.

After you clicked on a type, you should see a list of all the named classifications under the main classification. There should be edit links next to them. Click on the edit.

It should load a page that lists:

Name:
Classification Types:

Change the classification type to what main classification you want them to be.

Oh! I get it now... I didn't realize it was that easy to change. LOL. Though are you supposed to have to click on submit like 3 times before it takes. It keeps moving the box to the left until it hits the far left hand side before it submits.

It's a bit of weirdness in the CSS.  I'll look into it.
