Hi Everyone!
I had an idea for a new module I can code fairly easily if anyone is interested...
The new module would use eFictions Classifcations an whatnot to allow someone to upload a 1mage/page comic book or webcomic...
You can do this now using efiction by uploading the images, and then linking them in an html page, but I'm thinking of simplifying that for a user...
This is how I see the process... An author goes to their account, and finds "Add Comic Book" at which point they enter the Title/Author/keywords/etc...
Instead of uploading HTML or inserting HTML via the form, they get a Image file upload form. 1 image = 1 page...
They also have the option of uploading a zip file full of sequentially numbered images, that the module will then explode and turn the images into an online readable comic... Files are stored on disc or in the database just like with core eFiction stories....
The module would also have the ability to output the comic books as CBZ files, PDF files, and ePub files for offline reading...
This could also work for doing a simple captioned image series from a user....
Does anyone have interest in adding this functionality? it could be used to create a Comic Book hosting platform for authors, or just adding comic functionality to your existing archive...

I definitely see people wanting to integrate comics or other forms of visual works into their archives.
I would love this mod.
The fanart/fanfiction/comic archive for my fandom folded and if I can provide a new home for them that could be good for others.
So, yes, this mod could be grand fun.
