If you're using eFiction 3.3 and downloaded the correct version of the module for 3.3, you need to go to the Modules panel of the Admin section and click on "Install this module"

Ahh! That was my problem. I was using the link from above. It works now. Thank you!

I have a copy of version 1.1 (was the latest when i downloaded it). Will send it to you. Am unsure if it will work on a 3.5 installation though.

There is a problem with the most recent release of the module.  In the language file, there are two lines (the first two, I think) that call for it to look for the language file in the modules/recommendations folder, so if you don't have the recommendations module, it gets wonky.  Just delete those lines and it fixes it.

Also, it's not actually working properly on my site.  It's not showing in the dropdown menu like it's meant to. The old one actually worked, though.

I too would like to get this mod if someone still has it. Thanks!

I'm also using the latest version of the Beta Reader mod, as well as the latest version of eFiction - and I'm not getting the Beta Readers appear in my author list.

Anyone have any ideas? Or an older version they could link to/send over?

I'm certain I have at least one old version of the module (maybe a few different ones). I also had the same issue after I upgraded to the most recent version. If you give me an email address I can see about sending what I have for comparison purposes (I wouldn't really recommending using an old version). It might take me a little bit, though, since I just reformatted this PC to Linux and all my files are on an external drive. (Which I haven't even tried using on this PC yet, so it may require busting out the laptop.)

I know this is really digging out old posts, but did you ever get this to work so that they displayed in the listings?? If you did, it would be great to see the fix.

thanks
