Modifying or Creating a skin using Dreamweaver

I am using efiction for the first time and I need some help using dreamweaver 8/9 to see the pages. I only see the pages in code. Do you have any advice.

On the upper left above the code area should be a line of tabs that say something like:

Code, Split, Design.

If your page uses html, or something Dreamweaver can see, then you can click on design and something will show up. But some of the pages with eFiction are strictly code so nothing shows up, like with search.php. The best thing to do with those is to just view it in action on your website. Nothing else you can do, since it is code.

A lot of the skin pages (.tpl) will just output regular items that aren't stylized. I just upload pages to my website to see how they will turn out when I am designing skins. You can hide skins from your regular users and guests by using the admin panel.
