Mod name: starsign profile field with images v1.0 final  for efiction by Spikey (fanfictionworld)
Description: allows you to place a starsign option for your members to use in their bio (profile) with small images

Requirements: Minimum of efiction 3.2.1 but will also work with 3.3 and up
Mod History: N/A - first release
Mod License: free to use-just dont claim it as your own work!

Demo: http://www.fanfictionworld.org/viewuser.php?uid=29 and look for the starsign field at the bottom of the bio

Download Link: http://www.fanfictionworld.org/Spikeysmods/index.html

then left click on the starsign profile field with images for efiction by Spikey.zip link

what my mod does is allow you to place a  starsign option for your members to use in their bio (profile) with a small image that will appear in their profile according to which starsign they select

basically download the zip file from the page above and read the readmefirst directory's files and follow the simple instructions to install the mod

comments are always welcome! and I have got it working on my own site too

I may at some time try and find another set of icons for it that are better or make some

Thanks for the mail Jacynthe;

those were the icons I had actually already found but since then I found some other icons on my pc that look a bit better in quality so im gonna compare each set of files and use the best out of them πŸ™‚

but thanks for going to the trouble to send me them!

I have began to start the coding on the mod but it may take a few days to get done πŸ™‚

edit - im aiming for releasing this at the end of the week πŸ˜‰

Hmmm... shouldn't you start a thread for that location mod and keep this one for the starsign just for the sake of easier searching and all that balloney? πŸ˜‰

This is pretty cool-- I installed it easily and am using it now.
The one thing I wanted to point out: in the installation Read Me, the textareas for some reason CANNOT be clicked in, highlighted, and selected. I had to view the source of your read mes in order to get the code to copy.

Just as an addition to the "Readme" comments.  I HATE HATE HATE the color changing thing.  It is hard on the eyes, and for mod instructions that is a bad thing.

Other than that I think the mod is great πŸ™‚

Glad you like it Azurite

the textarea issue is strange as I've just tested the readme again and it works fine for me, but i'll look into that for when I finish my current mod (the location field) thanks for bringing it to my attention though πŸ™‚

I did the colour changing thing to be different :p but yes maybe it could be a bad thing when doing mod instructions
again glad you like the mod and thanks for bringing the readme issues to my attention

It took me a few minutes to make sure the color-changing background wasn't just me! I honestly thought I was getting sick or something, but when I was unable to select the text (I was using Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.7 on a Mac, btw), I went into the source code and found the javascript that was making it change colors. It was a little bizarre, because I honestly thought I was sick or something!
