Alright I found the file and the area I had to put it in, but it's still not coming up.
This is what I put:
echo "<title>$titleinfo</title>
<link rel="shortcut icon" type="image/ico" href=""fanfiction/favicon.ico"" />
Edit: Yes! I did it! I changed it to this
<link rel="shortcut icon" type="image/ico" href="" http://www.tabootwins.com/fanfiction/favicon.ico" ;" />
I think if you put this it will work:
echo "<title>$titleinfo</title>
<link rel="shortcut icon" type="image/ico" href=""favicon.ico"" />
Reason being it looks like header.php is also in the fanfiction folder. Since (as I assume) they're in the same folder, with the extra fanfiction folder in the relative path, you were telling it the absolute (incorrect) http://www.tabootwins.com/fanfiction/fanfiction/favicon.ico/
The Icon shows up on the site like it should
Right, both should work, assuming the two files are in the same folder as I believe they are. One is a relative link and one's absolute. Just wanted to let you know the difference, because some things (bridges, I believe) don't like the absolute links like the one you used.
Oh. I'll keep that in mind for if I ever bridge my site. Thanks!
I've added a favicon.ico to my site as well but it's not showing up on firefox. :/ Did I do something wrong? It works on ie ... http://treknation.net Just in case it's my cash. Could anybody please checkt it out? Do you see the favicon?
