As I said before I am using efiction as a single archive but I wanted to know the procedure on making people members to read the r and nc-17 stories but have no posting ability to upload fiction? I have it open to comments and removed the lock to read them but I don't feel comfortable doing that. 😐

Turn off unsolicited submissions.
What Carissa said. Go to Admin->Settings->Submission Settings
Where is says "Turn off unsolicited submissions:" select Yes.
All new members will be able to do is read and leave reviews if you have reviews turned on. My website is 99% just my archive and I have these settings. Occasionally I'll get someone emailing me wondering why they can't submit stories... I just point them to my Submission Rules where I clearly state there will be no submissions, unless I invited someone to post a story (which is pretty rare).
