Member Count and Newest Member are not updating

Have you bridged eFiction, if so with what?: no idea what that means
Version of PHP: 444
Version of MySQL: 5.0
Have you searched for your problem: yes, one post was for bridged, and the other was unanswered.
If so, what terms did you try: I have checked the forums and read the two posts mentioned above.
State the nature of your problem: I noticed the stats do not change in the Site Info box. Member count and newest member are not updating.
Do you have a test account for us?: Yes. It is called Test, and the password is test.

As stated above, member count and newest author do not update. Any help is appreciated.
