URL to your eFiction: http://themasque.net/wiktt/efiction/index.php
Version of eFiction: 3.4.3
Have you bridged eFiction, if so with what?: no
Have you searched for your problem: yes
If so, what terms did you try: Manage Images
State the nature of your problem:

Ok so on the new site we've just taken over managing. All the settings and everything was imported from the other person's installation. One setting that was different than our main site is that in the site settings "Stories saved in" is set to "mySQL" where as in our main site it's selt to save it into a "stories" folder.

So the problem is when someone goes to upload an image. They get a message that says it's sucessful but it doesnt actually upload anything. Here's what you get when the page reloads after the "upload"...

Any ideas?

This was an upgrade from 1.1

So maybe the mySQL table doesn't exist that the site needs to store the images in? Just throwing out more ideas.

You have allow images checked. Do you have a size restriction placed on the image? Any uploaded images would appear in the user id's folder. So if your uid was 7, it would be found in Stories/7/images (but you are storing them in SQL? If so I couldn't help you on that since I store all my stuff in the stories folder rather than the SQL database.

Even though the stories are set to store in MySQL. The "stories path" was blank (it was like that when I took over, probably a rollover from the 1.1 install?) once I put "stories" as the path it worked.

Finicky little bitch.

Images aren't stored in the database.  That's why you needed a stories path.

And watch the language please.

Thanks. Would be nice if the help files or documentation said as much.

Sorry. I didn't realize "bitch" would offend anyone.
