Sorry if this has already been asked but how do I install version 3.3.1? I shouldn't say install because I already did that. I mean, start it up? Make a website with it?
before you install you need to have a host that is capable of handleing php files and also mysql database and can set up a databse for your efiction archive
when you know that you have those things and have a database, then upload all your efiction files to your server, and put all the correct info in your config file so that it can connect to your database
if you need more info then please refer to the docs that come with the download

I mean a webhost which is where you ordered your webhosting from (if you have already ordered hosting hich im guessing you have since you say its already installed)

This is commonly asked and more and more people who are not website creation-literate wish to start sites.
In most cases, before trying to install eFiction here are things that you should know, research, read tutorials on etc. Questions that have been asked here numerous times.
1. Find a web host, start out with a free web host and test it out. If you don't know what a web host is, then chances are you are not ready to start installing eFiction.
2. Learn some basics such as FTP, CHMODing, what PHP/MySQL are.
3. Find a web host which has PHP & MySQL support. eFiction requires them.
4. If you want to install eFiction, complete steps 1-3. We cannot help you very much if you have a hard time with the basics, it's up to you to learn them, a good majority of us self-taught ourselves and so can you.
5. SEARCH! Google, yahoo, whatever search engine you use. Search the forums for answers, tips, questions etc.
6. Read the eFiction documentation, then search the forums some more.
7. Then once you have done that, contact us for support.
