Now that with the upgrade I got even the image upload working and without any errors...my question is this:
I know you have a bridge for things like Coppermine and such, but because you already have the ability to upload and save photos... is there a way to connect these photos and make a page for each user displaying their art and allowing a rating and comment....like the sql fields (just as an example for this idea) and have like an image gallery section built into efiction script for optional use (kind of like the challenges that you can choose to install or uninstall.)

It is just a thought. I know it would add more to the backend, but so does the Coppermine, and it is not exactly the most stable script, especially when it comes to spammers.
This is something that is more appropriate as a mod request, as not everyone uses a gallery for their archive, so I will be moving this to Mod Development.
