ok what I'm after is to change the main menu buttons to just show an image instead of the text? can anyone suggest where to edit and if possible how to make it happen.

You would edit the text of the link in the Page Links admin. I would not recommend it though as that will keep disabled visitors from being able navigate your site.

thanks 🙂 im not looking at changing all of the links to images only the ones that are not commonly used by all members such as the admin link and that sort.
