Right now, the validation has only table of contents, author's chapter notes, end notes, reviews, and even the "report this" link. We can also just click on table of contents, but that's just an extra click we never needed in 2.x π It doesn't show up for any of my skins, even CSSZen, Zenlike, and elegance.
This is what I have in validate.php:
$output .= "<div id='pagetitle'>"._VIEWSUBMITTED."</div>";
if(isset($_GET['validate']) && $_GET['validate'] == "yes") {
$storyquery = dbquery("SELECT story.validated, story.catid, story.sid, story.title, story.summary, story.uid, "._PENNAMEFIELD." as penname, chapter.inorder, story.coauthors FROM ".TABLEPREFIX."fanfiction_stories as story, ".TABLEPREFIX."fanfiction_chapters as chapter, "._AUTHORTABLE." WHERE "._UIDFIELD." = story.uid AND chapter.sid = story.sid AND chapter.chapid ='$_GET[chapid]' LIMIT 1");
list($storyvalid, $catid, $sid, $title, $summary, $authoruid, $author, $inorder, $coauthors) = dbrow($storyquery);
So I'm thinking it's supposed to show up. So do I have to edit a skin template? And if so, which file?

You need to find where the output for that page is. If I'm not mistaken, it's pulled from the database for the email alerts, but it's not set to display on the page.
