Basically, if you go to a story and select it as a favorite. You're taken to a page that says "Your Statistics Add to Favorites" and shows the story's block below that. But if I refersh my profile it doesnt add the story to my favorites at all.
There are two steps for adding a favourite. You have to click the button again after clicking it first time around...

Yes.
I'll take some screenshots maybe.
1) I go to the story and click the text to add this to my favorites.
2) This page loads up and I click to add it to my favorites again.
3) The same page as #2 reloads, looking exactly the same. If I refresh my profile, I still have 0 favorites. ( yes I've tried clicking the link arrowed in #2 on the third page. it just continues to reload the same page)
I was playing on my test site... the way favorites works there is You click ADD TO FAVORITES
It pops up like your second screen but there's also a comments field because I have tinyMCE turned on. I click the submit button without typing anything in the comment box and voila! I have a favorite (or you can leave a comment to remind you what you liked about the fic and click submit then in your list you see your comment as well). See sample below.

Thank you. I assumed the TinyMCE was there to comment on the story or something. What a confusing system.
I know I was a little confused by it as well until for grins I left it bland and clicked submit, then could find things listed in the manage favorites.
