I received this error when I reached the "Install Tables" part of the upgrade and click on 'automatic':
A fatal MySQL error was encountered.
Query: CREATE TABLE `fanfiction_authorfields` ( `field_id` int(11) NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT, `field_type` tinyint(4) NOT NULL default '0', `field_name` varchar(30) NOT NULL default ' ', `field_title` varchar(255) NOT NULL default ' ', `field_options` text, `field_code_in` text, `field_code_out` text, `field_on` tinyint(1) NOT NULL default '0', PRIMARY KEY (`field_id`) ) TYPE=MyISAM;
Error: (1050) Table 'fanfiction_authorfields' already exists
Please help. I uploaded the files just as instructed, so I'm not sure what went wrong.
There is no option to install tables when you run an upgrade. Are you sure you're not running the installation again?

*smacks forehead* I'm such an idiot. This is what I get for updating late at night when I'm tired. Yes, I accidentally ran the install instead of the update. I don't know what I was thinking, I've done updates before. So, I went back and ran the update and it went through just fine, however, now when I try to go to my home page, I get this error:
<<A fatal MySQL error was encountered.
Query: SELECT author.penname as penname, co.uid FROM fanfiction_coauthors AS co LEFT JOIN fanfiction_authors as author ON co.uid = author.uid WHERE co.sid = '168'
Error: (1146) Table 'WODfiction.fanfiction_coauthors' doesn't exist>>
So, now, the question of the hour is, how do I fix my blunder? π³
Ladybug (the embarrassed one)
Problem solved. Unfortunately, I'm not certain which part I did fixed it. I went back step by step and made sure I did upload everything correctly and also discovered a foreign file called 'indexs.php'. When I tried to view it, I immediately got a trojan alert, so I deleted the file. After that, the website came back up and appears to be working normally now.
