I'm VERY new to this whole eFiction thing, so please excuse my being slow. It takes me quite a while to process new information.
First of all, I looked around the forum for instructions on how to use eFiction on Macromedia Dreamweaver 8. Either I carelessly passed it by or it's not been asked or solved on the forum. So can anyone help me out with that? With instructions to installation? I sure hope I didn't just overlook it.
Secondly, I've seen eFiction on the best fan fiction and original fiction sites around. What I'm speculating on now is how to create my own skin. I got the graphics and design part down, it's the installation I'll be needing assistance with.
And when creating a new page on Dreamweaver, do I use PHP, HTML, CSS, etc?
Editing and moderating is the easy part, it's the installation and the first few steps I am absolutely clueless in.
I humbly request for the assistance of ANYONE who is willing to help a newbie. To whoever that may be, a HUGE 'thank you' to you in advance 🙂

I use an older Dreamweaver. I use it mostly as an uploading program to upload the eFiction files to a server, and I also use it to edit skins and do little mods.
To do skins, you should be familiar with CSS and HTML designing languages and understand the {variables} used with eFiction. A list and explanation of variables and how to make skins should be found in the /docs folder of your download.
You would need to know PHP to do any modding of the script, but you can get away with just following the directions most of the time posted on the forums to change things (like I do hehe!).
Whoever said nothing is impossible never tried slamming a revolving door.
