It doesn't work? Because I am using Javascript? Every time I go to edit from the custom page the javascript is removed or cut off. leaving me with a >

I am using an include inside the dsplot.php to link to a test.php because I didn't know how to incorporate my script into the dsplot.php with out error.
the script is working except it's above the the header and not inside the mainpage.

What is the text you're putting in your custom page?
I was putting the whole thing but even though the page was between the header and footer, it not completing so I figured the custom page don't allow javascript which made me try the custom links instead but for the custom pages, the only thing that stayed in tact was my links.

then it cuts off here inside the box. the textarea I created looks like it was spilled outside

Make sure that when you put the custom code, that you are not pasting or typing it into the TinyMCE box with all the cool buttons. Make sure that you are pasting it into the plain text box.

Hm, I'll have to check out how adding custom pages works in eFic; may see if adding in new "sanitisation" code works, obviously will have to check it out first, though.
Might want to fix it up in phpMyadmin for now ...

Thanks for looking, I just replied to this post: https://efiction.org/forums/index.php?topic=5346.0 asking since it is similar to what is happening to me. As for the database I wouldn't know how to approach it. 
ETA: I redid the custom page, still not taking my submit button and still cutting off after the <form> area, it has improved. The textareas are working properly if I refresh by browser and F5 which i don't want... this is a curious thing.
