Confirmation E-Mail

I've been skinning my own site and I've been trying to fix some of the pages and testing everything.  I was testing the registration form (to ensure that it was working and that a confirmation e-mail would be sent out) and it originally went to a page, after you were done registering, stating that you were registered and would receive a confirmation e-mail.  However, somewhere along the way I must have changed that and now it only says " This action was successful."  I was wondering if there was any way to fix this as I do want members to know that they will receive a confirmation e-mail including their login name and password.
