comprehensive table of contents on one page?

I want to  create a community site for a group that are creating one project together. This project consists of several inter-twined books, each of which has chapters, and smaller episodes within the chapters.
I want to be able to display the entire published content in a hierarchal form, all on one page-- book names at the top, then the chapters under that, with episodes under each chapter.

We often add episodes into earlier chapters, so my TOC needs to be produced dynamically. A "new" designation would be useful!

Is this already in efiction's functions, and merely a skinning issue, or is it a mod?
