I don't know if I have this in the right place. But I tired loading a skin and it came up with just coding. I tired to make my own, but I am php stupid. I looked at the tutorials but they are just as much garbble as the code I was looking at. How do you load the skins to get them to work?
1. Go back and read the instructions for posting a help request. We always ask for a URL to your site along with some other information which you didn't provide. In this case we'll also need the name of the skin you're trying to install. If we can't see it we usually can't help you fix it.
2. How did you try to "load" the skin. You should only have to upload the folder containing the skin through FTP into the skins folder on your site for it to work.
I read the rules. I am just a little frazzled. I have been working on this archive for 5 hours. my url is www.cmarchive.crystalmemories.org. I figured out how to load the skin but it don't come out right. It does not fit the screen and the sample footer does not fit. I can't even figure out how to change the footer.
For skins with 3.0+ you should post skin troubles on the Version 3.0 Skinning Support.
Don't forget to read the "READ THIS BEFORE POSTING!" found at the top of the forum, list your version of eFictions including the latest update, what the skin is called, and make sure that visitors can see it.
Right now I see CSSZen, Elegance, and the Zenlike skins on your site and they look fine. You need to know html and css to make your own skins.
