I currently have 4 classifications set up - Pairings, Categories, Warnings, Genre
When I browse into a category and the search/browse section shows up at the top, Pairings is listed twice. Pic below. And the odd thing is that if you try and use the one on the first line it doesn't work. The popup list shows up but if you select one and it hit Go - it shows all the stories in the category. But if I use the Pairings on the second line it works like it is supposed to.

I haven't modified anyting other than the skin CSS so I don't think I did anything - and I don't even know where to begin to look to fix.

Sorry to be such a pain - thanks for the help!
Check your database. You've probably got it in there twice.
lol... okay- I dabbled my big toe into the pool of my SQL database π
Under the class types this is what I have - which is what I expected to see

And under the classes this a sample of what I have
Looking through all three pages - the "pairings" are only listed as class type 2 which is correct.
I did find a solution/work around - in my site admin tools I went in and edited the Pairings classification and renamed both the name and the title to "couples" and it magically got rid of the second block when browsing -I went back in and put "pairings" back in both and the problem reoccured. So there must be a hinky record in the database that I need to source out. But in the meantime - I put the classification name back to "couples" and the title back to "pairings" and all is well in my universe.
I'm thinking that when I had initially installed the software and was playing around with it that I had used a "pairings" classification but deleted it. I'm wondering if I've just got a ghost bit floating around.
Included the long winded response in the off chance it might help soneone else out along the way π
