My Site: http://mistyfur.com/eFiction331/index.php
eFiction: v3.3.1
PHP: Don't know
MySQL: Don't know

I'm really new to creating sites, most of the lingo goes right over my head as I have zero knowledge in this area.

I wanted to change my site address to mistyfur.com/index but have no idea how. Do I need to reinstall efiction or is there another way of doing this?

Thank you,
Mistyfur

You will need to move the files and change the url in your settings.

You shouldn't have to reinstall anything.

1) Which files would I be moving? To what folder? Do I need to create one or is there already one set up?

2) Changing the url - where would I change the url? On my site, under the admin options it's listed as mistyfur.com

1) Move the files to your root directory. Depending on how your site is set it, it should might be called something different. Look for public_html, www, etc. It should just be the folder above where you have efiction installed already.

2) If your url is listed already as mistyfur.com, then it is wrong. It should be http://mistyfur.com/eFiction331. After you move the files, it should be http://mistyfur.com.
