Hi there,

So I've just put up a new skin, which is the default right now and I'm still working out some issues with it. I'd like to change the link color on the listbox. tail. area on the browse stories page.
http://www.sullen-riot.com/browse.php?type=recent

As you can see the grey links, which look good on the rest of the site are too light for the bottom area, but for the life of me I can't figure out what code I can insert in there to change it, or do I have to create another div element? And if I do have to create another div element, which tpl file would it be located in?

Thanks in advance.

You can change the colour in the CSS:

.listbox .tail a { color: #fff; }

... for example. 🙂

Pretty skin, by the way!

Available for skin/mod commission! 🙂

I've had a blonde moment! And thank you, Elle, that worked perfectly. I had inserted the code in the wrong place. This skin may be the death of me, it's the first one I've done custom, and it seems I keep finding new weird things I need to correct. I'm a little worried because one of my admins is saying the index is viewing oddly, I sure hope it isn't.

Thanks again!

If the index page is only viewing oddly for one person, tell them to do a hard refresh and see if it helps. It also could be that they're using a weird browser like the AOL browser, or something really outdated. Because of stuff like that, I have certain browsers that I support (IE 7 & 8, Firefox 2 &3, Safari, Chrome), and if someone's not using them then I don't stress about it too much. I actually test my sites in these, and the first three are the most commonly used. Unless someone's running like Windows 2000, there's no reason they shouldn't be able to use one of them. (I've learned you can't make everyone happy.)

Yeah, I just hate thinking it's something I did wrong. And wait! I have another issue!

Where is the part to call out the bottom of this bad boy? The challenge boxes line up like the stories but the bottom area is missing.

Hmm. Look in challenges.tpl (I believe that's the name, but I don't use the challenges module myself) for what comes after categories. My money's on something making it not appear even though it's there. I'd take a peak at your file but you don't have {skinchange_content} in your skin, so I don't know your skin name (and thus don't know the file path).

Yup, I found the area for the challenges, the series is what I can't find now. It's the only thing I have left. The skin's name is "scattered".

I tried the series_title.tpl but it didn't seem to change anything at all.

Thank you all for your help!

Ah, that's listings.tpl. Seriesblock is in there.
