If so, what terms did you try: categories, add new story
State the nature of your problem: When adding a new story, I cannot get the selection from Category Options to appear in the Selected Categories box. As a consequence, my story is showing up as Orphan when it should be under a category. Also, being an orphan story makes it impossible to find. I know it worked previously, because I have a story successfully listed under the one category I currently have on the site.
I'm hoping there's an easy answer to this, or else I'll install the latest version of eFiction and see if that fixes it.

If you've only got one category go into your admin panel and select only one category in your settings.
