Hi. I just installed eFiction onto my site without any errors.

However, I selected for it to be in maintenance mode. Then, when it was set up, I tried to login. Apparently my password was incorrect, after trying a few times I decided to try "Lost Password" however I can't use it because it's in maintenance mode.

Can anyone please help me?

Thanks in advance,

-Faint Brushfire.

You should have access to your database through your host, usually with PHPMyAdmin.  You can go into the database and turn off maintenance mode.  This is in fanfiction_settings.  Change the maintenance field to 0.  Then you'll be able to request a new password.

You could also go into fanfiction_authors and change your password, but you'd have to md5 hash it first.  (At least I think eFic uses md5.)  Here's a tool for that: http://www.iwebtool.com/md5

The maintenance field was already set to 0.

Will try md5, thanks.

Hmm.  That's odd.  What's your site?  (You should normally fill out the support request template).
