I upgraded my archive from 2.0 to 3.0.2 last december. Everything was ok and running. Than I downloaded the german language pack from www.schulle4u.de. Since I installed it I cannot add new stories nor chapters. Everytime I hit the submit button I only get a preview of my stories, but it's not added to the archive. 🙁
The last time I added a chapter to one of my stories was january first. That was the day I installed the language pack. And that is why I think it has something to do with it. Please help me. 😥

The first thing you should do is uninstall the language pack and see if the problem persists. I really don't see how it could be the language pack, but we need to know for sure and that's the only way to know. Let us know what happens and we will go from there.
You should also try to contact the person who made the language pack. It could be old or outdated, they might have a newer copy, or at least they should be told that it doesn't work.

Mucking around in eFiction since circa 2001 (ver. 1.0)

I have the same problem. I just changed the the characters' set in my english file to windows-1251 and now it's not working. I can upload everything in English but if I try to upload something in Russian it's not working
you should probably start a new topic. You're not suposed to add new support requests onto old topics.
When you post your new support request, do not foregt to post all the information about your site from the Help Template.
Also, answer this on your new topic: did you change the archive to be Russian, or did you download a language translation someone else made?
