We have a problem with our archive at http://www.efics.net . When you click on an author's bio, nothing appears, as though nothing was entered, even though folks are entering info into their profiles. I've asked our designer about it, since she created the skins for the site, but she says the skins wouldn't have messed up this function. I really don't know, it's all completely beyond me. All I know is that none of the archives (we have 4) at our site function when it comes to the bios. If anyone knows how to fix this, please let me know. We recently lost one of the folks who helped with technical issues, leaving the rest of us sort of in the dark about what to do.
Any help would be appreciated. π
We're running version 3.3.
Go to the admin panel, and click on Settings - Display Settings. Make sure that "Display Profiles" option is set to Yes.

Yes, it's set to YES.
What skin are you using? Is it based off of a skin that came with the download?
Do this: View your site with an unedited skin that came with the download. See if the profile appears with that. CSSZen is a good choice.
If the profile does appear, then it's a coding problem with the other skin you are using. Find the difference between the two, and correct the bad version. It will most likely be in the skin's profile.tpl, or variables.php.
