URL to your eFiction: http://www.pretendercentre.com/renewal/efic/
Version of eFiction:3.3.1 and 3.4.3
Have you bridged eFiction, if so with what?: no
Version of PHP: signature
Version of MySQL: signature
Have you searched for your problem: (yes)
If so, what terms did you try: settings
State the nature of your problem:
Do you have a test account for us?no but can set one up

Just noticed somethign new in both my efic and test efic, when i go into my settings to change site settings, submissino settings etc, they used to sit all nice and easy to read. But now they are all squished up and kind of hard to follow with the lines out of whack. What controls the look of that area? as it seems to be independent of which skin i am on. Last time i went into my settings they were displayed much more nicely not in such a skinny box.

it is the same on both 3.3.1 and 3.4.3

thanks

ETA: worse affected skin seems to be zenlike

why is nothing ever easy?

Doesn't show up that way on my skins.  Check your .tblborder CSS.

I just looked at my pages and I seem to have the same issue, and it doesn't seem to matter what layout I'm using.

I havent messed with any of my css, and definitely not with my .tblborder CSS, and it is occurring across the board, including all the default skins, which i never touch anythying in. And have made no changes to the site between remembering it displaying normally and now displaying whacked

/* this is a carryover from 1.1.  Generally it is used around tables and table cells. */
.tblborder {
border: 1px solid #000;
            padding: 6px;
border-collapse: collapse;
color: #000;
}

that is the same in every skin i have loaded and it has been lifted straight out of the default templates

had i not been so tired last night i might have realised what i think is casuing it.

just checked this morning and it is displaying normally on ie and and firefox, the only sinlge thing i have chnaged is my broswer. I updated to opera 9.5 the other day and i believe that is what is the cause of the freaky display. Have looked at a few friends sites and all of them are displaying weird in opera as well.

It is not a huge issue since it only seems to be in settings, but a fix woudl be very nice if possible
thanks

Sounds like a bug in Opera 9.5  if it was working in Opera before.  So the bug probably isn't on our end.  As it doesn't affect functionality only appearance, I probably won't devote any time to it.  I've just got too many other things to do.

No worries Tammy, i know you got 40 million things on your plate. It is no big deal as it seems to be just that one area which if i have to go into can do via one of the other browsers.

Barb, was your problem on Opera too after an upgrade or on a different browser?

I think it was Firefox... and Opera. But it's not a big deal for me either. I just was confirming that the layout does indeed squish itself.
