Is there a detailed description of what power each level of "admin" has? For 1 through 4.
With this new archive I'm managing I need to give some of the old admins some power, but not too much if you know what I mean. And I really dont feel like creating 4 accounts, giving each their abilities and then testing it. But I will if I have to. I searched the forums and manually and couldn't find anything.
The little "help" pop-up simply says...
This setting defines the admin's level of access. Level 1 is Super administer with access to everything. Level 4 is an authorized author for archives with submissions turned off.
(Note: I think it means "Super Administrator")
My archive is set to allow submissions. So how much power does level 2 and 3 have? With submissions turned on does level 4 have any more power than 0 (default)?
The admin panel is a good way to look at how much power can be assigned to a level. The links at the top are on separate lines for reason; level 3s can only see the first line, level 2s can see the next and the first, etc.
