I've just installed efiction 3.3 and I've run into a couple problems. The first is that when I try uploading a story, I can't put that story into any of the catagory options I've created. That 'box' simply doesn't exist on the add-story page. Is this a bug? Should I reinstall 3.3? I've got a few other issues, too (such as people creating 'authors' without approval from me, something I can't seem to turn on).

Go to Admin->Settings and explore. Everything you mentioned is there.
