Is the correct version of Zenlike put on? It seems to be riddled with error messages, and I don't see a browse section at all anywhere.

It's not a demo site. It's where I'm setting things up to move over to the actual site later. Why do you want me to add news items?

These are simply contest entries for 3.0, and are not compatible with 2.0, I would think that even though they are under the GPL license it would be better if you made your own skins for entries if you plan on entering. But perhaps your own reason for wanting to download the skins.
Once the contest is over and 3.0 is released, it will be up to the authors of the skins to decide if they want to offer them for general download.
