I completely by mistake 
revoked my admin privileges. Now what to do?...
Maybe it would be nice if admins could not revoke their own admin privileges and (or at least) nobody could revoke the root admin's privileges.

Go into phpMyAdmin edit the fanfiction_authorprefs entry for your uid to have a level of 1.
Well I can certainly make it so you can't revoke your own privileges. The problem with not revoking "root" privileges is that the "root" user can change. Sites are fairly often handed from the original owner to new caretakers and I think new owners are certainly within their rights to then revoke the previous owners privileges.

As of 3.2 you can no longer revoke your own admin privileges.
