A fatal MySQL error was encountered.
Query: SELECT * FROM fanfiction_settings_old
Error: (1146) Table 'site_eficwords.fanfiction_settings_old' doesn't exist
This is on upgrade 11 php step 8 .
The reason for upgrading at all is because of a server move that included an upgrade from PHP 4 to 5. Once that happened, strange things started to happen. On the login screen, it would not accept my login and password, but clicking "recover password" did nothing (so currently there's no way to login). The number of stories in a category would be listed, but clicking on a category revealed no stories.
Very stressful. Any help would be appreciated.

Since v1.1 is so old, it isn't compatible with PHP5 as I'm sure that you have noticed. Did you save a backup of your site? What step did the upgrade fail at?
