We also host all member's Fan Fictions, Original Fictions and Poetry, along with having a weekly book club meeting where we discuss the work on the site with the author! Each week is the chance to discuss a different submission from our members, and allows our participating members to talk about their work, which we all love to do!
Currently I have set up the "Featured" section of the site to hold the stories or poetry that we will be discussing that month, so everyone has easy access to those submissions. We do ask that everyone that wants to participate in our Book Club Meetings be an active member on the site, aka post comments, talk on the forum etc, so we know you're around and will actually be present when we discuss your submission.
Also, I have a challenges section that is open to anyone that wishes to participate, so you can go into that section, see what kind of stories we are looking for and make something up to submit. we're very lenient with what people want to send in, so it's easy to come up with something to submit.
Our fan fiction caters to everyone, so if you're interested in harry potter to Orlando Bloom, Vin Diesel to anime, it doesn't matter. anyone can submit any type of fan fiction they like. Just make sure it follows the guidelines of the site. Slash fics are welcome as well, as long as it has a warning saying so on it.

One of the things I found a little annoying is that your music is embedded in the background or something. Luckily I like the music, but you really should allow users to choose to stop the music or pause it.
Sorry, i found the music so annoying i couldnt stay long enough to give it a proper look over. For many people, music blaring out at them is a real turn off. It plays over any music they might already be playing, or can scare them badly if they are not expecting it. I know many people like music in the background, but for me personally, if i am at a site that i have no choice as to start the music or not (even if I like the song) then I will never return to that site again. I would definitely look into Becca's suggestion to make the music playing optional as you risk alienating many people.
