Yes, every couple of years I like to update this post with the changes I have made 😉
The Panel system is an unsung hero of this script. Not realizing it's potential I have been manually coding my menu structure into the vBulletin skin. Sure it works but it is far from optimal.
My recent updates now make full use of this system. eFiction control are now dynamically added to the vBulletin pages. Where there was duplications, such as editing the Bio, I have used the URL entry to point it to vBulletin equivalent. These few changes, that eluded me for so long, have really helped the site navigation. I have to code less when adding and updating site links.
The panel functions, copied from the script, are also being used to show the Top Tens in my "Recent Items" menu.
Outside of that I have put some extra work into eFiction to add new sorting options to the browse windows.
My next project is to see if I can possible link the review system to the vBulletin "Visitor Messages". This will let people have extended conversations about reviews while maintaining the current system.
