All of the skins I wanted to use wouldn't show the extra links, so I had to use WritingPlus3 by Calic0cat. I edited it just a teeeny bit.
I used phpbb for the forums, and . . . That's about it!

Looks like you need to re-upload the blocks/news folder and the includes folder since that's where the errors about challenges seem to spark from. It's possible when you uploaded them the first time that not all the files made it through FTP.
