Also, in my opinion I think it's not too nice the way you referred to Kali's skin as if you made it entirely (when in fact it's her original coding and the CSS and graphics were merely changed). Although I know she doesn't require link back or credit  😐 I don't mean this as a personal attack of any sort, just merely opinion.

I do like the graphics and color scheme but it definitely does not make me think of Titanic at all and I would have not known it to be a titanic fanfiction archive if it was not really mentioned.

It is not just entirely titanic, its also kate and leo, so i started out with a kate skin...about the skin, she said we could edit it and no credit would be needed, so i would understand if it was her telling me something, not you really  😕

Anyway I just shared, I don't care if you like it or not...

I assume I gave you individual permission for some reason, because I do request credit as per my legal.txt, readme.txt or cclicense.txt (it depends on the skin download which file is included)

"This skin is made available for free download, use, and modification as long as this legal file and other notes found throughout the skin remain intact and a link back to http://www.made-by-kali.com/ is given in all sites where the skin is displayed."

Not that I fret over it  all that much since I really can't stop people from removing the credit short of hiring a lawyer.

I suggest changing the skin, not because of Becca's concern, but because the coding on that skin was pretty crappy on my part. Someday I'll fix Adobe, but I'm more concerned with my new creations. If you would like a similar skin, I suggest Nirvana, which can easily be adapted to the color scheme you have chosen.

Anyway, your post is coming off as extremely rude to Becca. I hope you didn't mean it that way. If you notice in the other threads, critiques are common in this forum and if you don't want them, I suggest you edit that into your original post so people know you don't want them.

I'm not sure if the skin you used came with its own footer.tpl file, which may have been outside the main folder when you unpacked it, but I also used one of Kali's skins (edgey) and made sure I added that footer, which includes a credit to the creator. Says something like "Skin by Kali." I simply added "Modified by SpookyMulder" after it. This way, she gets the proper credit and my visitors know I altered it. I'm not trying to attack you, but it really does look like you're taking full credit for her skin. I would be happy to paste in the code for the footer if you'd like to add it as it includes a link back.

On another note, I thought you did a nice job on your banner and the color scheme looks nice. I'm not certain what the skin looked like unmodified, but I liked the effect overall. I do hope you intend to add a Titanic skin as well.

A note of advice; don't be so defensive! I have encountered not one single meanie here. Every single person seems friendly and very helpful. If someone leaves you a bit of criticism, they're probably just trying to help.  🙂
