Rivka helped me convert my storyline1.8 files over to eFiction. eFiciton I found to be a better script mainly because it's still supported. However, Storyline showed members who were logged in, which would be awesome if eFiciton had this feature.

Hey, how did you add a word count to the Spuffy Realm?? And can it be changed to size? I've been trying to find a way to do that.

this was a hack that several of us worked on til we got it right, It was up on the old site and I'm not sure if our admin is still moving those files over here, check the mods section, if it's not there then just 'pm' me and I'll send you what you need.
